The Sporting Chef Scott Leysath Does Appearances at the Great American Outdoor Show

The Great American Outdoor Show is bringing out people from all areas of sports, media, entertainment.  One of the unique individuals making appearances at the event is celebrity chef Scott Leysath

This week, Leysath is doing several cooking demos for preparing venison and small game.  Tomorrow, he will start a series of daily autograph signings at the Outdoor/Sportsman/WFN Channel booth.  

The show runs through Sunday.  One-day tickets cost $13 while two-day passes run $22 and entry for children ages 12 and under are $6.  

Leysath is known as "The Sporting Chef" for his work in the outdoor world.  He is the cooking editor for Ducks Unlimited Magazine and has published two cookbooks.  

For four years, Leysath was a contributor to HGTV's "Home Grown Cooking with Paul James".  Every Sunday at 12:30 p.m., he can be seen on the Sportsman Channel with "The Sporting Chef".  

His show won the Southeastern Press Association Excellence in Craft Award two years in a row.  Leysath's speaking appearances across the country show that even if you have a short attention span, you can be a great cook.
