Technology Entrepreneur Richard Sheridan Keynotes TiECon Midwest This Week

One of the top entrepreneurs in Michigan is booked to speak at TiECon Midwest 2016.  Technology leader Richard Sheridan is the keynote speaker at the event that runs October 27-28.  

TiE is the largest entrepreneurial non-profit.  The conference is organized by their Detroit chapter and held at The Henry in Dearborn.  

Sheridan is slated to talk about the "business value of joy".  The conference will attract hundreds of attendees and is titled, "Ignite2Disrupt".  

Sheridan is the CEO, Chief Storyteller of Menlo Innovations.  He co-founded the company in 2001 with the expressed purpose of bringing joy to the world through software. 

Some of Sheridan's methods are shared in his book, "Joy Inc.".  For eight straight years, he has won the Alfred P. Sloan award for Business Excellence in the Workplace Flexibility.  

Sheridan has also won five Inc. magazine revenue awards.  He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and master's degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan.
