Dickinson originally joined Iron Maiden in 1981.  They became a big hit throughout the decade, releasing a number of platinum and gold albums.

After a run as a solo artist in the 1990's, Dickson returned to Iron Maiden in 1999.  Last year, the band released their latest album, "The Book of Souls".
