FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly has been thrust into the limelight recently for her public battles with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.  The notoriety has seemingly paid off for Kelly as HarperCollins has announced a book deal with one of the stars of the political news cycle.

The publishing company says that Kelly's book does not yet have a title, but that it will be released in the fall.  Other media outlets have speculated the deal is worth anywhere from $3 million to upwards of $10 million.

Several book publishers were in the running to ink Kelly.  She follows the path of other notable FOX hosts like Billy O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, who have long been in the lucrative book game.

Kelly hosts "The Kelly File" weeknights at 9 p.m. on FOX News.  She first started with the network in 2004 and got her own show, America Live, for the first time in 2010.

Additionally, Kelly has moderated several Republican debates for the network and early in her career served exclusively as a legal expert.  Following a career as an attorney, she got her start in media as a general assignment reporter for WJLA-TV in Washington D.C.

In 2014, Kelly was named to Time's list of 100 Most Influential People in the World.  She was born in Syracuse, New York, received her bachelor's degree in political science from Syracuse University and a J.D. from Albany Law School.
