Fitness Expert Lou Ferrigno Makes Appearance at the 13th Annual Fit Expo

When talking the fitness business, there are not many names that loom larger than Lou Ferrigno.  Ferrigno's appearance added some juice to the 13th Annual Fit Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center on January 23rd. 

There were over 600 booths at the two-day event that attracted 60,000 attendees.  In addition to various fitness companies peddling their wares, there were also several demonstrations.  

Ferrigno attended with his daughter, Shanna, who he operates a lifestyle program called Ferrigno Fit with.  They boast the only father-daughter program in the industry.  

Ferrigno first gained acclaim as a bodybuilder, winning an IFBB Mr. American and back-to-back IFBB Mr. Universe titles.  His impressive physique helped him land the role of The Hulk in a TV series that ran from 1978-82.  

The Hulk would be a role Ferrigno would also assume in several TV movies.  He has also appeared as himself in a variety of programs and was a contestant on season five of The Celebrity Apprentice.  

Today, Ferrigno sells a variety of branded products in addition to his programs.  He still stands as an inspiration for many and gives presentations around the country to motivate others.
