Celebrity Chef Joanne Chang Hosts Boston Book Signing

Joanne Chang is one of Massachusetts' favorite celebrity chefs. A large crowd met Chang in Boston earlier this month for a signing of her new cookbook, "Myers+Chang At Home." 

The event took place at Lekker Home at 6 p.m. 30+ South End boutiques co-hosted the signing. 

Books were available for purchase. The appearance by Chang was just one event that dotted the schedule for the 9th Annual Holiday Stroll. 

Chang is the owner of Flour, a bakery that has locations in Boston and Cambridge. She was named Outstanding Baker in 2016 by the James Beard Foundation. 

Chang's career in the kitchen began at Biba in Boston as a garde-manger cook. She went on be a pastry cook and pastry chef at area establishments. 

Chang also worked in New York City in the Payard Patisserie cake department. She graduated with honors from Harvard College.
