Carson Ingle

Bestselling author Trevor Corson is in Bar Harbor, Maine for a book signing tonight.  He will be at the Jesup Memorial Library at 7 p.m. to take part in the signing.

Corson will also talk with those in attendance.  He is being joined at the event by his wife and fellow author, Anu Partanen.

Books will be available for purchase and a percentage of the sales will be donated back to the library.  Corson will discuss his ties to Maine and the Mount Desert Island.

Corson is the bestselling author of, "The Secret Life of Lobsters: How Fishermen and Scientists Are Unraveling the Mysteries of Our Favorite Crustacean".  The book details the scientists who research lobsters along the coast of Maine.

To research the book, Corson worked as a lobster-boat crewman for two years.  USA Today and Discover named it the best nature book of the year.

Corson has also written, "The Story of Sushi: An Unlikely Saga of Raw Fish and Rice".  In 2007, Zagat selected it as the Best Food Book of the Year.
